Body piercing usually gets way less news coverage and when it does, it’s often in a negative context. (Not that fresh) body-piercing related news would be Dutch articles about risks related to oral piercings (based perhaps on articles like this one), an ‘important’ question ‘are body piercings sexy?’ and an article presenting body piercing as therapy (I guess some people would agree with this one).

News from Australia is not that positive, either: body art as a turn off now and ‘Ink be gone’ about increase in popularity of tattoo removal.

Fortunately, there’s also a ray of light here: a German article reminding us that ‘some things are forever’ (and also mentioning Berlin Tattoo Convention this coming weekend) and another Christmas-related charity event taking place at a tattoo parlor in OH: ‘free tattoos for musical instruments.’
